Last Tuesday, Talia's class hosted a German class from across the border. This is separate from the big Rostock exchange. These children live just across the border so they just had a one-day exchange. Next week, Talia's class will go over there.
The morning was spent getting to know each other and doing little projects together. There were some croissants and drinks served (some by me, kind of Flight Attendant Flashback...).
Then they marched to the park to have lunch and play.
They then went into the gym to play some games there.
The Germans sang a little song to say goodbye.
It wasn't as involved as the Rostock exchange. These children live nearby and have probably been to Strasbourg many times. The goal was for them to see what typical school life is like in France.
