Talia got her CF3 yesterday. It was a horribly long, hot day in Pfastatt, almost a hundred miles away. All the girls in her group were successful. Actually, there were very few who weren't (mostly very young ones). Still, she had to memorize 5 routines and there was a physical test section she had to do as well. We arrived at 1pm, it started at 3:30 and we left at almost 8pm...
She had a routine with each element; hoop, clubs, rope, ribbon and floor (no equipment).
This is Talia with the clubs;
I missed the shot of her in the end position with the hoop so I had her repose for this photo;
Proud Mommy with her baby;
Papa too!
The two boys in this photo are also brothers of Talia's teammates. It was so long, hot and tiring for them!
Talia actually can be seen in this photo. There's some piece of equipment in front of the screen and if you look down and kind of towards the right, you can see her head.
They were taking the group photo here;
All the girls from Strasbourg passed with scores over 200.
It was just all poorly organized and apparently, they didn't have access to the second gym they usually do. Everything was crammed into the practice gym and instead of two mats, each of which is divided in four, they only had one. So instead of 8 girls at a time, there were only 4, which really slowed things down. Being so far away meant we really couldn't go anywhere or do anything. Plus, there was no schedule posted. It wasn't like we could return when Talia preformed. We were just stuck there...
At least it was successful and most importantly, it's behind her!
