Talia and Davina's gymnastics show

I promise I will finish these posts...

This is jumping back to the 11th. I didn't realize that I didn't post these photos.

Talia and Davina's gymnastics Xmas show was put off to January. Obviously, the theme had to be adjusted. This suited us well as we missed last years' due to going to California and were back well in time for this. They called it the "Fête des Reines" or "Queen's festival". Basically, it fell around the "Fête des Rois" or "King's Festival", basically, the visit by the three kings. Usually they eat these special pastry cakes, etc. It's a holiday but not a day off.

Cute how they changed it to "Queen's" because GRS is almost exclusively a women's sport.

These are not easy pictures to take so apologies in advance!

Basically, they just did a little demo. Here's Davina hesitating;

Daniel took videos of it but I need to download them on to my YouTube account.

After, some of the competitive gymnastics did demonstrations. The French championships were coming up in two weeks so their routines were pretty well honed. Some of the little ones, 10 and 11, practice 14 hours a week, and even more for the older girls.

After the show, the three kings showed up to distribute candy to the girls;
