Last Sunday morning, Americans in Alsace had a skating party. It turned out just to be a few families coming out to skate. We also ran into some of the kids' skating buddies but it was a good excuse to come down to the rink.

These are the chairs that they use to teach new skaters (like we had any when I learned...) Most of the time they were in the main rink but came into the kiddie section to say hi. Two of the kids had never skated before so we helped out a bit. Talia was just being lazy sitting in the chair (and I did catch Ronnie pushing the first timer around in the chair-not clear on the concept!) The other two did great and weren't afraid at all!
