Visiting Loren's place

While Marshall was out with Ronnie and Evan, I took my kids over to a childhood friend's house. She has a lot of animals.

We were greeted by one of the many cats;

Talia is checking out the Chicken In The Basket (look on the shelf on the left).

There she is!

The chickens wander around the house, which is very clean considering. My girlfriend admits to using a lot of paper towels though!

This one looks very comfortable up there.

The dog's name is Gwen and she was a greyhound rescue dog. Poor thing had a rough start to life but Loren, Jim and Brittany took good care of her and loved her. A couple months after this picture, they found out that Gwen had bone cancer and had to be put down. Luckily, they have a very nice vet who came to the house and sent flowers afterwards. Got to love a vet like that!

Also a dog like this. I would get a greyhound rescue if I could!
