Yesterday I went to the Tales of the City Musical. I've read the books, seen the T.V. show and now seen the musical.
It was supposed to close the day before I arrived in California. Bummer! Until they extended. My sister sent me an email.
Barbara wanted to go and the evening before, she was at her friend Suzi's. They mentioned in passing that they were going to Tales, the matinee! When Barbara called and told me, I scolded her for not telling me and I could have given her the seat no.s. No, no coincidence!
We ate at the Urban Tavern at the Hilton. Early lunch but I couldn't stay for Gigi's birthday dinner. Too long away from the kids.
Wish we had gotten Brian in the photo!
