These are just some random pictures from our trip to California which didn't neatly fit in anywhere else.
Waking up to catch the 4:15 Lufthansa shuttle bus was not fun but we can honestly say that it was well compensated. We were on the new A 380, world's largest passenger jet. The entertainment system was great!

I took this in the airport terminal while going to pick up Daniel. This is an advertisement for Beach Blanket Babylon which I didn't manage to see while there.
I was able to see Jody twice on this visit. She was going back East but she stopped by on both ends of her trip. This is the first visit.
