Retirement age protest and other photos from the Fall

As was reported in the international press, there were demonstrations all over France against the raising of the age of retirement. It did disrupt things but at least we knew in advance.

Here comes trouble!

They weren't at all dangerous or frightening. Quite the opposite with an almost celebratory atmosphere. People brought their dogs, kids and played music. Ultimately though, they weren't successful...

The girls doing an art project at the Halloween Party. It's a Americans In Alsace event they attend pretty much every year. I didn't take many pictures this year.

We like to eat at the Hilton, sometimes on Sunday. They have a "brunch" (it's really just lunch-starting at 12:30) but they have games and things for the kids. In a rare moment of cooperation, my kids built blocks there one time.

This is from Succoth (Sukkos). For Talmut Torah, they met at a member's house. These are the two teachers, Simon on the left and Michaelle on the right.

Talia, sinking into the table.

This is a cousin's dog. Sometimes I give my kids my camera just to entertain them when they're bored and I don't need it.

I love this of my little one. She naturally has 80's hair;

I wasn't able to load this up at the time due to the computer crashing.
