Our trip to Paris...well...really St. Germain-en-Laye

text will follow

This was sort of our first time on the TGV Est (East). I've taken the TGV elsewhere in France and Ronnie went with Daniel once. For the girls, it was definitely the first time.

Sophie's place is too small for all of us so we stayed in a nearby hotel where I got which are probably some of my last all-in-the-bath photos;

Seeing the Eiffle Tower on a cold, cloudy day. The kids insisted so we did it!

Visiting the dinasaurs! Flash photos weren't allowed. The Museum of Natural History is quite run down but at least it was warm and not too far away! Our plans of taking the boat were undermined by the weather...

The weather cooperated better after that. This is the park in St. Germaine-en-Laye;

Davina in the Jardin de Luxembourg;

I had this fantasy of taking a child to the Jardin de Luxembourg one day and it finally came true! The only thing was that on a nice Sunday, it was packed like sardines. The boats in the fountain, which would have thrilled Ronnie a few years ago, hardly interested him or his sisters. There were pony rides which again, didn't interest them...

There was a big playground. You had to pay! In a way, I was happy to do so because that supposedly would keep anyone iffy out, although not a guarentee. It was too huge to follow all three kids so I stayed with Davina. Ronnie and Talia would pop up from time to time. It kind of stressed me since there were just far too many people there.
