Fête des Reines-Strasbourg GRS (under construction)

The "Fetes des Reines" is sort of the club party. It replaces the Christmas party, which was too hard to schedule. In January, France celebrates the "Fetes des Rois" when the three kings visit the baby so they changed it to "Queen's" instead of "King's" Fete.

They like to do a group warm-up with all the girls from the competitive groups. Talia is in the second row, on the right, all in black.

Talia is again on the right, sort of the second row.

Davina's group getting ready to go on. They're the "Poussines" or baby female chicks. Loses something in the translation...

Back row, second from right in purple. These are with my little instant camera. I cleaned the lens after this event.

Straight back.

Photos from the Strasbourg GRS site.

With the first competition a month away, the parents were practicing too. Pictured are some of the parents of Talia's group.

These were actually taken after Talia performed.

 Starting position.

A more or less successful toss.

Taking a bow.

Again, the photos from the site.

She's not sure when this was taken.
