After Hollywood Blvd. we went over to the La Brea Tar Pits which I also visited as a child. Ronnie is really into dinosaurs but turns out they weren't really dinos but other later creatures. He still seemed to like it.
The Page Museum, as it's now called, is a unique building. I didn't take a picture (shame on me) but here's a small photo of it;

They have a really nice facility now. There's a garden in the middle. 
We left L.A. the next day and stopped to say hi to one of my mom's old good friends. This is not her dog. She has a friend staying with her, in the middle of a move to California. She brought her two dogs. They were very skiddish and shy but Talia worked her magic and got this one to sit in her lap.
