They came in second!

For the Eastern regionals, Talia did not perform and the team came in second to Thionville (near Luxembourg). They do still qualify for the French championships next month.

So far, so good with the "German" exchange student. She's very sweet and ate everything (the big concern with these kids who seem to consume a lot of French Fries!)

Ronnie went off to England. Daniel was not happy about the bus. He said both the bus and driver seemed old. The bus conked out somewhere past Metz (about an hour or so out) and was replaced. Not a good start!
