First of all, to those of you who got our cruise blog, no, I did NOT know my sister was in the hospital. Luckily, it had nothing to do with her cancer and it wasn't life threatening.
I'll put up the blog and some more pictures soon but I don't want to put it on the same post.
Yes, the Grim Reaper has been busy these last few weeks. Agi's death was bad enough. Daniel attended three funerals in 2 weeks this month. Two of collegues, one only 27 with two small children. The other was in his 60's and retired (didn't talk much about it). I didn't know either but I did know a family friend who died of Hep C and was in her mid-70's. It was kind of a shock as we didn't know and she was this really strong woman. She was very kind with my mother-in-law.
Now I've just heard about the brother of a friend in New York. Someone my age who died suddenly.
Dee, a friend from the U.K. came over, which phsychologically good for us. I think getting back to school will be a distraction.
Of course you might notice that I'm posting on the 10th anniversary of Princess Diana's death. We were only a few miles away and when a friend told us (I had visitors from England), I thought he was joking. I held up the Sunday Times for that very day and asked "Don't you think this would have mentioned it??" Turns out, it's published at midnight and sent over to Paris in the wee hours, while the events were unfolding...
